Bollywood dance is the Hindi-Film version of dance. It is based off of Hindi film songs and fuses many different styles of dance within it. Bollywood got extremely popular with the explosion of Slumdog Millionaire and many different shows highlighting this form of dance, including Do You Think You Can Dance and many others!
We will be teaching a couple different classes for children this year. The age ranges will be from 5-15. In this class, we will be teaching kids Bollywood moves so that they become more confident and become better dancers. As the year goes on, we will have the teams perform on stage at different community events (the very young team we will have to determine if it's feasible). Classes are normally taught every Sunday for 1 hour between 2-6 PM starting on July 14th. We will commence practices after that assuming we have other performances. We will not have class on Labor day, and Columbus day. The calendar below will inform you if we have class on each given week:
